Port in Astara

The Client was «Washington International INC».

Starting the implementation of marine and irrigation projects to improve the infrastructure of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "EVRASCON" Corporation worthily defended its reputation as one of the best construction Corporations in the Azerbaijan Republic.

In turn, the entrusted projects to the company for the construction and restoration of ports have always been carried out at the highest level and on time.

These projects include the project on “Construction of a port in the Astara region”.

Implemented works under this project include:

• Construction of the Northern (L = 419.0 m) and Southern (L = 307.0 m) dams;
• Construction of mooring pier № 1 and 2:
  - production, driving and concreting of piles;
  - production, installation of r/c slabs.
• Strengthening of Northern and Southern dams:
  - transportation and fill with 00-300 kg weighing rocks;
  - preparation and laying of r/concrete blocks of hexalegs in wave sections.
• Work on the deepening of the input channel and water area;
• Construction of an inclined platform for unloading the boat;
• Asphalting of the territory and top of dams;
• Power supply;
• Water supply.

The facility was commissioned in 2005.
